Daytour along Kungsleden
South of Kvikkjokk
Kungsleden south of Kvikkjokk starts with a 3 km hike uphill from Lake Saggat, up to a sparse birch forest, a landscape likening that of a park. Here is a good view over Sarek and the Tarrekaise massif. This part of the Kungsleden is not used often. It is very nice to walk in this remote and beautiful part of the Kvikkjokk area.
We have regular departures for rides to the Kungsleden. You can also book a ride over at another hour. There are no available rowing boats for use to cross the river.
North of Kvikkjokk
The stretch north of Kvikkjokk goes through an old forest area. After 6 km hike you get to the stream Njáhkájåhkå. The sparse forest is mixed with mires and you have a view over the Sarek. After another 4 km you get to the lake Stuor Dáhta.
